Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the Magnum Ice Cream Co. website (olabfn.co.za) and the OLA Customer Portal Android application. We process your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) of South Africa.

2. Information we collect

When you register an account we collect your name, email address, cellphone number and, for wholesale customers, your customer or outlet number. When you place an order we collect your order details and any delivery information you provide. We also keep standard technical logs (such as device type, app version and connection details) for security and troubleshooting, and we use essential server-side session cookies to keep you signed in.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to create and maintain your account, verify wholesale eligibility, process and deliver your orders, send order confirmations and important service communications, provide customer support, and keep the service secure. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Payment information

All orders are settled via EFT bank transfer. We never receive or store your card details through the website or the app.

5. When we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the store (such as hosting and delivery partners, in the limited amounts needed to fulfil your order) and with authorities where the law requires it. We never share your information for third-party marketing.

6. Storage and security

Your information is stored on secured servers located in South Africa and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access is limited to staff who need it to run the store.

7. How long we keep information

We keep account and order records while your account is active and, where required for tax and financial record-keeping, for up to five years afterwards. Information you send via the contact form is kept only long enough to handle your request.

8. Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to have your account deleted, email admin@olabfn.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children

The store and app are intended for adult customers and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
